hey, whats up?

a blurb of my new fanfic; The Dark Ghost* (DP)
*Name Pending

Sam was a very open minded person, she would take any put down she got and use it as constructive criticism, in an attempt to make herself a better person. It never really worked as planned, it always somehow made her a two faced person. So, she trashed that idea, and went along with what Jack and Daniel did. She also hated that too, because she paid so much attention to them, she had crushed on both of them before. She was ashamed very time she thought about it. She wasn't the 'relationship' type, she didn't think. There was really nothing to be ashamed of however, if Sam had friend that were girls, they would tell her she had excellent taste in guys, both Jack and Danny had very good builds. They were cute too, not just the way they looked, their personality's were the best she could ask for. Especially with Jack or Danny. They were her family, they had become closer and closer with everything that was happening in the city.
Her and Daniel had always been close, but the family relationship between the three started when Sam's family left the city, and didn't tell Sam why. Sam knew very well why however, they didn't want to deal with the crime and gangs in the city. Sam didn't either, but she was stuck there. Recently, the government had cut off the entire city from the outside world, by closing the entrances and exits to the city, holding them all inside it like a cage.
Another thing that bugged Sam was how crowded her apartment building was. It was the 'poor' building in the city, and most of the city's residents were 'poor.' lucky for Sam, Daniel gave her the key to his apartment, so she had a place to crash when life became to much to handle on her own. Jack had offered his 'apartment' too, his room was in the basement of Daniel's building, it was a fairly big space, with more then five rooms. Sam preferred Daniel's apartment however, it was on the top floor with a full view of the city. Sam liked windows. She felt safer if she could see her surroundings.
Sam opened the door to Daniel's apartment slowly, half expecting someone to tug it open, causing her to fall flat on her face, but no one opened it. She walked slowly in and closed the door behind her.
“Danny? You here yet?” she called, her voice quivering. The apartment felt vacant to her, but it was always like that, Danny wasn't the best interior decorator in the world. He had a couch and a table in the middle of his foreur and his bed was on a raised platform, his covers were white, with a gold yarn trim. There were huge skylights, above the couch and his bed. The moon hung over the skylights, casing a weird lighting effect at night.
